The marijuana industry is booming, and now is a great time to buy stock in weed companies. But which stocks are good investments? Keeping up with pot stock news and prices can be overwhelming. This investment can be particularly intimidating when the stocks have a large price tag attached per share. Penny pot stocks are a perfect option if you want to invest in the weed stock market without risking too much money.
What Are Penny Stocks?
Penny stocks don’t literally cost a penny, but they are cheaper stocks generally priced under $1.00. These investments are ideal for beginners and are relatively low risk due to their low costs. However, penny stocks can be highly volatile. Only invest what you’re willing to lose, and don’t risk it all expecting to get rich.
How to Invest in Marijuana Stocks
How do you invest in legal weed and profit from pot stocks? The majority of penny cannabis stocks are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX), so it’s helpful to use a broker or service that supports Canadian investments. One service that supports this feature is E-Trade. Regardless, there are always U.S.-based stocks to invest in as well.
What kind of marijuana businesses are you’re willing and interested in supporting? There are a lot of variables at play when deciding which weed companies deserve your investment. Do you want to invest in a cannabis company involved in activism and social justice? Is it important for you to invest in businesses that are profitable and expanding? Do you want to buy cannabis stocks based on celebrity endorsement and the latest industry trends? Asking these kinds of questions will help you make investments that align with your needs and values.
